Welcome!
We're glad you could make it.
This site is but a musical note in your song of life. It is, or will be, designed to let you know that you are not alone in this world. This probably sounds odd considering our world's population, but I have discovered that many people are segregated by loneliness and despair or frustration when seeking answers for such things as autism, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), my child's individual education plan (IEP), brain injury, social security and other topics.
Some people can be helped by being steered to resources. Others may only need a reminder that they are not alone in our busy world, as they attempt to navigate the sea of beauracracy and mounds of paperwork. While it is true that an abundance of resources exists, the starting place may be well hidden from the over stressed mind.
So why on the Internet you may query? Well, that's where you come in. Sometimes, we're challenged because we can't be in all the places we need to be and often, we don't know who wants or needs the help.
Knowing where to start can be problematic. A friend, like you, can help by directing people to this web site. For those who have trouble using the web and for the multitude who do not have the Internet, you can print out the material (when we have it all ready) and give it to the person who needs it.
We will not be a "one size fits all". Nor is our site intended to replace professional advice such as from a doctor or other professional. Rather, it is the beginning of resources to assist you on your journey. You might say a possibility of less stress in your quest for answers. It is our hope that this start will save you some frustration and put a bit of song in your heart.
The result is: now YOU have performed mitzvot (a good deed). YOU are on your way to Tikkun Olam, repairing (or healing) the world.
Thank you for your help! We couldn't have done it without you.
We hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to our website. There's much more to come!
